For long items like a folding saw, here's a handy pouch from Baribal.

Fits many popular camping saws like the Bahco Laplander and Fiskars Xtract SW73. The maximum diameter of a round object is 45 mm / 1.8" and for things with a rectangular profile, 45 x 25 mm / 1.8" x 1" is about right.

Features a flap with hook-and-loops and an elastic hugger for retention when the flap is tucked inside for ease of use. Made from 1000D Cordura. Mil-Spec NIR properties. The color is a bit greener than Ranger Green but less saturated than Olive Drab. See the comparison picture.

The PALS strap in the back can be weaved to form a 50 mm loop for use on a belt without an adapter.

Great for the Bacho Laplander folding saw. Versatile in that you can carry the saw in and outside a backpack (especially with molle) and on your belt when in camp. I have searched the internet for an item like this for long time and this is by far the best option.

Hi! How do you guys know that this is Mil-Spec NIR? I sent an email to the company Baribal requesting information on the subject and they replied with the following: "We do not use webbing, hook and loop tape or thread with IRR coating. Only Cordura is IRR.". So my question is, have you guys actually looked at this gear with IR and IR lights?
