Keep your tarp shelter and accessories such as stakes, poles, and guylines neatly organized in this lightweight and simple bag!

Made from durable and lightweight fabric, this bag has everything you need and nothing more. The bag is almost as simple on the inside as it is on the outside: just a divider inside with wide organizing loops on one side for pole sections or other ~30 cm / 12" long things with a diameter of 2.5 cm / 1" or smaller. The side without loops is perfect for the tarp.

In practical terms, the pouch is large enough for a DD Hammocks 3x3 Tarp, 10 European pole sections (BW, Austrian, etc.), and enough guylines and stakes to rig whatever tarp-origami it is that you do. The DD 4x4 can also be carried in this pouch and while you can squeeze some poles and stuff in the other compartment, it's a tight fit.

Condition

Used condition with visible wear but nothing is broken. The metal buttons probably show patina. These were originally made for hard use and still have a long service life ahead.

Austrian surplus

Functional, neutral, clean. That's what the Austrian Bundesheer gear is made of. Our Austrian surplus revolves mostly around the Anzug 75 and Anzug 03 clothing systems, but who knows, maybe the "Tarnanzug Neu" will make it's appearance if the Austrians decide to clear the stocks in the future. Get your OD gear while the stocks last.

After the Second World War the Austrian soldier looked like a weird mixture of Allies and Germans; the M1 style helmet and general profile really tried to bring that NATO vibe up, but a lot of the gear and even the dotted camouflage pattern looked surprisingly much like WW2 German issue. In the 70s they took a major leap towards NATO with the introduction of the all-green Anzug 75 clothing and equipment system closely inspired by the American equivalents, finally letting go of the "old stuff". The Anzug 03 brought the game up to date with some changes in effort to modernize the whole thing. Now the Bundesheer is again moving over to camouflage.

Ordered two, received one in perfect condition and the secon one with a medium sized hole, easily repaired.
Found an original Austrian guyline forgotten at the bottom of one pouch, complete with its adjustable metal slider, feel lucky.
Do not know if I don't fold it the right way but my 3×3 tarp is hard to fit in and does not leave space for more than 6 BW poles. Guylines and stakes must be forced in. My 4x4 tarp does not fit in at all. curious to see how you fill your tarps in.
A good useful bag anyway to keep your gear organized at ready.
