A super-strong Kevlar Paracord that has more than double the tensile strength of ordinary paracord and adds heat resistance for demanding applications. Sold in coils of 15 m / 50 ft.

Kevlar (the most common brand of aramid fibers) has been used in bulletproof vests, heat-resistant clothing, and motorcycle riding gear for years. Now you can enjoy this near-magical stuff in the form of paracord! Atwood Rope took this high-tech fiber and made a rope that is super strong: 567 kg / 1250 lbs as opposed to just 249 kg / 550 lbs of ordinary paracord.

It is lightweight and doesn't melt: it is heat resistant up to 482° C / 900° F. where the material decomposes. Nylon ropes would melt long before that at around 250° C. Interestingly, Kevlar also retains its properties so far below freezing temperatures that they don't occur naturally on this planet.

Great for search and rescue, friction saws, snares, tag lines, survival bracelets, and so on. It's probably not very often that you would need such a special rope, but it's better to have it anyway.
