Hydration Packs and Accessories

Looking at hydrating yourself easily on the move? Then you want a hydration bladder. These come in different shapes and sizes, with or without a carrying pack so you can integrate the bladder to the pack of your choice if you should so wish. How handy, eh?

It's quite obvious that a drinking bladder is an excellent choice for high activity use like running or cycling. In military use, it provides the soldier with a reasonably large amount of water compared to a regular canteen.

Pick yer bladder carefully

Think about whether you need to carry something else besides the bladder or not. If not, consider a hydration pack with a low profile carrier and the bladder itself. This way you have a choice of stowing the bladder in the pack of your choice.

If you know you will always use the bladder in a daypack or a rucksack, get the bladder only.

Is 2 litres enough? This is a good amount for a day, but if it's an overnighter, get a 3-litre bladder. Strongly consider combining the bladder with a standard canteen.

Maintenance is important!

The bladder is a relatively complex thing and worth taking care of. Although the hydration packs we sell come usually with good anti-bacterial treatment and won't need washing when used solely with tap water, some brushing and washing is sometimes a very good idea.

Don't cheap out!
