Buy two, one for the neck and one over the head.

Made of wool. The color shade and material thickness vary a bit (these are still "thin"), but all toques serve the same purpose.

Used & repaired when deemed necessary, but overall in nice condition.

Ei kutise yhtään niin paljon kuin DDR-tuubi, mutta silti vähän saksalaisneuleita karheampi. Just oikean mittainen kaulabuffiksi, mutta niskan yli vedettäessä tuntuu niin kovin lyhkäiseltä! Pitkäkaulaisemmilta manööveri ei välttämättä edes onnistuisi. NVA-tulkinta on paljon joustavamman mittainen sellaiseen puuhaan.

Simple, warm and high quality. This is simplicity at its best. They are shorter than modern counterparts, but work as intended. The wool is not itchy and while it's quite thin it's very warm. Highly recommended for that price.

Onpa helvetin tiukka. Omani on tosi siistikuntoinen mutta yksi huvittavan huolellisesti paikattu reikä näyttäisi olevan. Reilusti pienempi mitä muut käyttämäni putkihuivit, pitää silmälasitkin ottaa pois siksi aikaa että saa tämän kaulaan. Pääni on kuitenkin sen verran iso että eiköhän tämä käytössä tule venymään aika äkkiä. Koko päätä peittäväksi "hupuksi" tästä ei kyllä itselleni ole ikinä. Ei kutita, tosin en muutenkaan saa villasta "oireita".

It's a nice and simple wool tube that you put your head through. Made of wool dyed in that charming blue-grey-green-ish colour that the Swiss use for everything.

These are pretty tight-fitting. If you have a bigger head or a thicker neck - or both - go for an NVA toque instead.

Compared to my NVA tube, it certainly is more tight fitting as other reviewers have pointed out. Not itchy at all (NVA isn't that bad either) and soft.
I don't have an enormous neck, but I can feel the tightness of it at times. I expect it will stretch properly over time. Very warm though. Great to use only as a neck warmer.
For the price, I bought 2 just in case!
