The most streamlined and compact weaponlight from SureFire is the XC1-B. This B-version has an output of 300 lumens and it runs on a single AAA battery.
The controls couldn't be simpler: there's no need to feather the switches to get momentary illumination: just press and hold either one. When you release, the light goes off. To get constant-on, give either switch a short tap, or use the cross-bolt type switch on the side of the light.
The beam extends to 54 meters and is wide and smooth for positive identification of threats at close ranges. The runtime is 45 minutes.
The body is made of hard-anodized aluminum and is sealed against water ingress. The XC1 is a very hardy light suitable for carrying every day with a weight and size that won't push you to ever take it off.

Overall I'm glad that Varusteleka has added this product to their catalogue, because between a repack coupon and prices in finland, it's still cheaper than purchasing locally here in Switzerland.
