Screw the Convertube on, and put your water bottle in your chest rig, battle belt, or a backpack side pouch. Set the drinking tube on your chest area or a backpack shoulder strap: now you have a no-fuss method of having a sip of water while on the move.
Use
Choose the correct adapter for your water bottle. The short tube has an integrated adapter for the normal PET bottle (28 mm). The set comes with three additional adapters:
- Evian-PET (24 mm)
- Sigg (42 mm)
- Nalgene (63 mm)
Adjust the straw to a correct length, so it will reach the bottom of your water bottle. Screw the adapter on your bottle, connect the drinking tube to the adapter short tube, and you are set.
In addition to the adapters, the Source Military Convertube has a Source drinking tube with a high-flow Storm drinking valve. The tube and adapters come in coyote brown.

Two or three plastic bottles and this drinking tube device might be close to the perfect hydration system. SODIS is amazing; I have tested it and it works.
