Technical details and instructions

Material

The fabric is 60% recycled wool, 30% polyester, and 5% polyamide. Brushed recycled wool: the inside is fluffier while the outside is smoother - very comfortable. Fabric weight: 220 g/m2/ 6.5 oz.

Care

Usually, just airing the shirt out is enough. If purification is required, the factory recommends dry cleaning. We have tested washing these at 30 degrees Celsius (86 F) using a wool cycle, and the shirts survived. However, since the factory doesn't recommend that kind of recklessness, do it at your risk.

"Ladies first" - except up a ladder or when we offer clothes at Varusteleka. The good old Särmä Wool Flannel Shirt is tried and tested; as a downside, we found it to suffer in looks when worn by women. Here's our countermeasure; you're welcome!

There are lots of spiffy cheap rags of shirts, which "will do" until you try on something real and proper good. The danger is that you might raise your standards. This collared shirt is one of those more premium-style articles of clothing, so try it on at your own risk. All in all, this shirt is nothing short of a miracle: made of Italian wool fabric, sewn in Estonia (it's just South of Finland), and the whole package for this price.
