When this iron curtain finally falls, and it will bloody well fall, people can still bear this flag as a symbol of patriotism and solidarity. One day they can tell their grandchildren that they sacrificed their freedom so that the rest of the country could stay untainted. Nobody has had to participate in this harsh Netflix- and frozen pizza-filled trench warfare ever before.
