Awesome Merino wool
This is a super comfortable, good-looking piece of clothing that also works in exercising, hiking, and other outdoor use, thanks to the material. Merino wool is breathable, and it keeps you warm but doesn't get uncomfortable when you go indoors.
- Fabric: 87% Merino wool, 12% recycled polyester, and 1% elastane. Pocket pouches 100% recycled polyamide.
- Fabric weight 320g/m2. Pocket pouches 170g/m2
- 19.5 micron
Regarding durability, the recycled polyester content makes a world of difference in comparison to 100% wool, but when it comes to the good qualities of merino - warmth, odor resistance, etc, you won't notice any difference.
All our Merino wool products are mulesing-free. This is nice because we are sure you wouldn’t want your ass mutilated either.
Sizing
These are pretty slim fit. If you like things loose, take one size bigger. Of course, these are quite elastic. Unlike the old Women’s Merino Wool Hoodie, the hem is not wider.

This is equally fantastic as our other Merino wool hoodie but it comes without the zipper and can also be used as a shirt. The collar has a button closure. It replaces our Särmä Women's Merino Wool Hoodie, but it is a Unisex model. Our zippered hoodie is good for women, too - most of our female employees have at least one.

Toki 6kk aktiivisesti ollut käytössä niin metsässä kuin töissäkin, toki useimmiten takin alla. Mutta käyttöaste suhteutettuna kestävyyteen on hyvä ja kuluma ei yllätä.
Kevyt mutta lämmin, miellyttävä päällä. 4/5 koska kuluma, 5/5 koska toimii. Pakkohan sitä on ens syksyksi ostaa uusi, toki tällä kertaa long versio regularin sijaan.

Fabric is thin but at the same time warmer than I expected. I do however wonder how well it will last compared to other merino shirts I own.
Price isn't cheap even with 20% discount and is the main downside but at the same time a wool hoodie is a bit of a niche item and I appreciate how Varusteleka works with CSR and relatively local production.

Lekan vetoketjulliseen versioon verrattuna tässä on parempi istuvuus, ja ehkä hiukan pidempi helma. Samalla rahalla myös enemmän merinoa! Kestävyys jää nähtäväksi, mutta toistaiseksi pyöräilyssä ja sisätyössä palvellut hyvin. Tuntuu myös mukavammalta päällä kuin tavallinen merinohuppari, lämmittää hyvin, mutta myös hengittää. Olevinaan ohuempi kuin vetoketjullinen, mutta eipä tuota huomaa. Todella kova suositus tälle. Nappien kanssa näyttääkin hyvältä. Taskut olisin itse ehkä jättänyt pois, niin sopisi housuijen sisäänparemmin, mutta menee se näinkin.
