The Spanish Palc charmed us with their shoe grease, so we decided to get proper good shoe polish from the same manufacturer. No kidding, this stuff is grand!

Applied with a brush, rag, or finger. Circling motion is the best, keep the layers thin. Let dry (preferably overnight) and polish up. Not recommended for anything with a membrane (e.g. Gore-Tex).

Also, do not put this in your mouth and swallow it. If you do, seek medical attention as soon as possible. Keep the tin with you and show it (the tin) to the doctor.

Mulla oli ensin sitä ruskeaa saksalaista. Sillä tuli helposti siisti pinta uusiin kenkiin, mutta talven käytettyäni huomasin, että väri ei kauaa pysy. Ostin purkin tätä, pesin kengät marseille-saippualla (ei sillä kissalla vaan oikealla kasvispohjaisella) ja sipaisin pintaan. Oho, tämähän suorastaan imeytyy nahkaan ja antaa syvät värin. Saksalainen oli tähän verrattuna lähinnä kiilloketta.

Kengät ovat Särmä nilkkavarsikengät, väri tummui jonkun verran, mut näyttävät pirun hyvältä nyt.

Picked up a jar of this stuff with my Austrian Lightweight Boots and had them looking like new! More like a cream or lotion compared to Kiwi polish's paste consistency and has a more mild odour compared to Kiwi. Rub on, rub off, repeat.

Good stuff. A note for the brown cream, the colour is a reddish brown (dare is say chestnut?), which is a nice shade but not what everyone is going for.

In terms of use, it's quite easy to spread without making a mess. Doesn't smell like industrial waste, either.

The jar should have a foil underneath the lid, but mine was broken and somewhere within the cream - slight annoyance there. In the mail package, the jar was put in a sturdy zip bag so no risk of messing other stuff regardless of such mishaps, kudos to Leka for that

Good, old-fashioned shoe polish (creamlike, as opposed to more typical paste), in a small and compact tin, so if you need to bring along more for some reason, you can simply bring 2, 3, 4...and stack them on top of each other, rather than futz about with a 350ml+ tin that doesn't play nice with your bag- Lasts longer than you'd think a 50ml tin would, which is nice. Palc's shoe grease is equally as good, but being grease, there might actually be some competent domestic alternatives that also come in small, neat tins.
