Mechanix SpeedKnit™ S4DP05 Thermal winter gloves come in handy on cold and wet days when you need to protect your fingers against light cuts and abrasion from sharp edges, corners, and such. They aren’t suited for butchers or other work that requires heavy-duty cut resistance. They come with a lightweight 15-gauge nylon outer and a 10-gauge brushed knit liner to keep your hands insulated from the elements. The knit liner is made from 71% acrylic and 29% polyester, with 100% nitrile coating.
These gloves are fully dipped to prevent the elements from sneaking in during cold weather work. The working side features a touchscreen capable sandy nitrile palm coating.
Made in China.
Sizing
Due to the insulation, these have a very snug fit widthwise. Our test person normally wears size Medium Mechanix Originals but chose these in size Large.
Manufactured by Mechanix Wear
Mechanix Wear is one of the most well-known glove companies in military circles. As the name might indicate, they were originally made for mechanics who value dexterity. However, they quickly found their way into military use since dexterity is also vital when using firearms. Nowadays Mechanix gloves are used by soldiers all over the world.
