Use
Because these are really dextrous for being winter gloves, some compromises had to be made regarding warmth. In other words, they aren’t the gloves you want for your Antarctic expedition. Unless you want your fingers amputated of course. For really cold weather and just standing still in frozen darkness, you should bring along thicker mittens. For wintery deer hunting, these are fantastic underneath big and loose-fitting mittens. When it is time to shoot, just drop the mitten from the trigger finger hand.
Since these have some insulation, they feel a bit tighter than the non-insulated Originals. If you want a really snug fit, take what you normally would wear. If you’d like some air in between your fingers and the glove, go one size bigger.
Manufactured by Mechanix Wear
Mechanix Wear is one of the most well-known glove companies in military circles. As the name might indicate, they were originally made for mechanics who value dexterity. However, they quickly found their way into military use since dexterity is also vital when using firearms. Nowadays Mechanix gloves are used by soldiers all over the world.
