Materials
The palm is made from 60% Nylon, 38% polyurethane, and 2% carbon black. The back and cuff are 100% polyester. Both the Tricot lining and Primaloft insulation are also made from 100% polyester.
Use
The package includes one battery for each glove. Insert the batteries inside the battery compartments and plug into the cord found there. Then you can charge the batteries through the gloves directly.
Once the batteries are hooked on and charged, the clim8® intelligent Thermal Technology Heating System automatically turns on when you put the gloves on. The indicator light shows when the glove is actively heating. You can adjust the temperature between 20-35°C (68-95°F) with a downloadable app. The system adjusts and regulates the internal temperature based on the body and outside temperatures for optimum hand warmth. Usage, heat settings, and general wear may affect the run time.
The package comes with clear instructions on downloading and using the app. The heating works without the app as well, but you cannot adjust the temperature without it. The app works on iOS 9+ and Android 6+.
Sizing
Due to the insulation, these are pretty snug. Our test person normally wears the size medium Mechanix Original gloves, but with these, he found Large to be the most comfortable.
