Magpul Rift Ballistic Sunglasses, Polarized

If your mags, slings, and buttstocks are from Magpul, then why not sunglasses too. These have actual ballistic protection, by the standard Z87+ – the Magpul Rift has a stylish design that incorporates high-performance ballistic protection for those times when you want both protection and rizz in your life. These larger frame sunglasses fit well on faces on the larger side.

Polarized

Polarized lenses reduce reflected light, ie. glare. When you have a lot of reflective surfaces around you, like water or wet roads combined with sunny conditions, you see better with these.

Polarized lenses are a popular choice for driving, high-speed sports, and fishing – the latter because you see through the water surface and not so much the glare on the surface. We only go fishing in the dark with stolen reels and rods and always drunk, so we wouldn't know what kind of sunglasses you need for that, but we’ll take the word of actual fish professionals here.

Magpul has compiled this table for you to check out, but in the end you'll probably just pick a color that looks cool. That's fine.

The new Violet/Green Mirror color scheme is not on this list, but we hear it is especially good for freshwater or deep water fishing when the water is dark or murky. Again, we’re not fishing professionals, but we heard this rumor somewhere.
