Gear up for the unexpected with the Raptor Response. These compact and portable trauma shears cut through materials while the micro-serrations on the inner blade keep fabrics from slipping and binding.
The Raptor Response also features a ring cutter, ruler, oxygen tank wrench, and pocket clip, so you’re ready to get to work in any situation. The blades are polished and the contoured grips are aluminum with a ceramic coating. These features and the mechanical simplicity makes the Raptor Response shears easier to clean and they can also be autoclaved.
Compared to the Raptor Rescue, the Response version is shorter and narrower but a little bit thicker. It does not have a strap cutter and glass breaker and is supplied without a holster.
Many pistol mag pouches are too small for these shears even with the pocket clip removed. The shape makes these not ideal with TACO pouches as well. BlackHawk Single Pistol Mag Pouches are a good fit and the Baribal Tactical Rescue Shears Pouch is a good choice, of course.
Tools
The Raptor Response maintains clean lines and a slightly lighter weight with a couple of hidden tricks.

- 420HC Stainless Steel Folding Shears
- Ring Cutters
- 5 cm Ruler
- Oxygen Tank Wrench

Made by Leatherman
To many, Leatherman is synonymous with multi-tools. This is probably because Tim Leatherman made the first multi-tool based on folding pliers in the early '80s and it certainly has helped that Leatherman multi-tools are still made in the US with very high quality.
