The Finnish army style beret. These are good enough to use in the service, the manufacturer is the very same who supplies the army.

Made of 100% wool, with leather sweatband. Wet before shaping, and leave it on your head. It dries in form. There are ridiculous amounts of shaping instructions around and of course every one of them is the right one, so we leave it at that.

The beret is not to be washed ever, it just naturally builds up character in use. You can spot a pro if his/her beret is all faded and worn, but sits peculiarly well on the head.

On muuten myös lämmittävä maastopyöräilylätsä helppoon maastoon kun ei aina jaksa pottaa pitää, tosiaan viileillä keleillä lämmittää kivasti ja ei takuulla kovassakaan myräkässä lähde tuulen mukana päästä. Testattu viime talven lumimyrskyissä jätkäsaaressa rannikolla.

Luulen, että 90-luvulla Panssariprikaatin jakobaretitkaan eivät olleet tätä tasoa - muistaakseni silloin saattin brittiläiset beretit. Tämä sakemanni lyö kaksi kilpailijaa (Miltecin ja erään toisen kotimaisen armykaupan tuotteen) mennen ja tullen. Miltec menettelee, mutta se on kuin kevytversio tästä täysbaretista. Tämä kestää särmäyksen kuumassa saunassa ja kylmässä suihkussa hyvin ja muotoutuu erittäin sotilaallisesti. Nahkanauha kiristää, mutta sehän vain lisää adrenaliinin tuotantoa. Nyt vain kovaa käyttöä, jotta kenttäuskottavuus saavutetaan.

Kunnon laatutavaraa, kestää hyvin särmäämisen ja muotoutuu asianmukaisesti. Kuten aikaisemmissakin arvosteluissa on mainittu, laskuvarjojääkärien punainen ja rannikkojääkärien vihreät baretit olisi myös ihan hienoa saada myyntiin.

Kyllä ne saksalaiset osaa. Jakotavaralaatua vastaava (onko se sitten hyvä vai huono asia, päätä itse) baretti on kunnon kamaa, eikä mikään kiinalaisen erotiikkaliikkeen baskeri. Sisäpuolelta löytyy barettimerkkiä varten nastojen suojat, josta täydet pisteet. 5/5
