Features

These elbow pads come in various slightly differing models from different manufacturers, but the operating principle is the same. The pads are in good condition or unused.

Some of the pads have a Cordura outer fabric, while others have a finer fabric that should withstand use similar to Cordura. The padding is foam, and the protective cups themselves are hard plastic. The interior of the pads is lined with soft fabric. The pads are secured with elastic straps with hook and loop fasteners.

To put on the pads, slide the pad onto the arm over the elbow and then tighten the straps to fit. There is some adjustability in the strap fastening.

Some of the pads have NSN numbers:

  • NSN 8415-17-118-5960 (OD Green)
  • NSN 8415-17-122-1391 (Coyote Brown)

Dutch Surplus

These are surplus from the Dutch military. In this pile of elbow pads, there are items made by at least Seyntex and Hatch. Some are unused and still in the original packaging, while others are without. Some pads have scratches on the hard protective cup from crawling around on concrete or such. Some are marked as made in China.

I received a Hatch EP300 set with the buckle. Made in China.
The buckle is a little bit sharp as it has already cut my hand.
It's an elbow pad, so it does what it was designed to do.
