CamelBak Urban Assault Pack XL, Black, with 0.75 l Water Bottle, Surplus

Unused CamelBak assault packs, fresh surplus from the factory! Bottle included! No wonder these were discarded, being some ancient 2013 model these are totally obsolete and useless.

CamelBak is known for its hydration bladders, but of course, there have to be meant to carry them too. This pack is a proper urban day pack: low profile, a shitload of compartments and stays on you.

But what does it contain!

Compartments

From the top to bottom:

• A small quick access pocket - Comms Pocket - on the top meant for electronics (pictured is an MP3 player, how about that vintage)
• A padded large space for a laptop (all will fit) with a waterproof zipper
• Main compartment with two pockets
• A secret flat pocket with hook-n-loop closure
• A clam shell pocket for random items, secured with two compression straps
• A secondary compartment for smaller stuff
• Side pockets which take chargers, battery packs or water bottles etc.

If you use a hydration bladder (not included), it will fit any larger compartment or the beavertail. The pack is not first and foremost designed with a bladder in mind: you'll find no hanging loops, drain grommets, or tube passages, but you can use one.

Carrying

The shoulder straps have a pretty nifty "D Fit" feature, which means they will contour to the wearer's shoulders. Otherwise, the shoulder straps have the basic stuff like a sternum strap and quick adjustment buckles.

The waist strap is a low-profile model and is easily removed if necessary.

On the top you'll find a carrying handle and on the side two compression straps.

Ventilated and padded mesh against the back to minimize sweating.

Bottle included

Unused factory surplus

Yep, these all came to us in factory plastics. Apparently, CamelBak decided this is way too old for anyone to use so they sold the rest of the stock for cheap. Their loss?
