If you aren’t yet acquainted, these are nice-looking, comfortable, and very durable green military cargo pants. Perfect for both wilderness adventures and everyday use. The only trick is that the price-quality ratio is ridiculously good. Need we say more?

Features
Austrians have a reputation for smart and practical military clothes but unfortunately their gear is gradually getting more and more difficult to find. If you’re looking for really well designed and manufactured stuff for a good price, now is the time to act! One of these days all the warehouses have been raided empty. These Anzug 75 cargo pants were standard issue well into the 2000s and still see some limited use. And why not since they are great cargo pants even today!
The color is officially RAL 7013, but it can vary slightly from grayish to greenish or brownish. The buttoned pants have two slash pockets and two cargo pockets with a button flap closure. They also feature sturdy belt loops for a 35 mm (1.5") belt. The ones that we checked are made from 50/50 polycotton but these have also been manufactured in 50/50 viscose and polyester, so don’t be miffed if you get one of those. The fabric is very sturdy but also breathable. The pants were made for warfare so they will be very well fitted for hunting, hiking, fishing, and everyday use, too. Compared to modern combat pants, these are more "garrison-like" when it comes to fit and mobility. So, not too stiff.
Size info
Anzug 75 pants are fairly straight, so a good fit at the waist is unlikely to be baggy elsewhere. If your waist size is at the recommended maximum and you are considering between two sizes, the larger one will have room for movement.
These are made in various widths and lengths – just like jeans! The Austrian Bundesheer size in the brackets uses regular numbers for the width and Roman numerals for the length. Even in the case of pants, the width is based on chest size, as is common in Europe. The assumption is that a regular man will have a waist 12 cm (~5") smaller than his chest.
The size conversions and recommendations are based on our measuring work, customer feedback, and naturally wearing these ourselves. Don't get hung up on the numbers, though: surplus clothes often have variation.

Condition
Unissued Austrian Bundesheer surplus. So, no grunt has sweated in these.The pants have patiently waited for a new owner in some dark warehouse. Could it be you? The ones that we checked were from 2005 and 2006 but there can also be pants from other years, too.

Austrian surplus
Functional, neutral, clean. That's what the Austrian Bundesheer gear is made of. Our Austrian surplus revolves mostly around the Anzug 75 and Anzug 03 clothing systems, but who knows, maybe the "Tarnanzug Neu" will make it's appearance if the Austrians decide to clear the stocks in the future. Get your OD gear while the stocks last.
After the Second World War the Austrian soldier looked like a weird mixture of Allies and Germans; the M1 style helmet and general profile really tried to bring that NATO vibe up, but a lot of the gear and even the dotted camouflage pattern looked surprisingly much like WW2 German issue. In the 70s they took a major leap towards NATO with the introduction of the all-green Anzug 75 clothing and equipment system closely inspired by the American equivalents, finally letting go of the "old stuff". The Anzug 03 brought the game up to date with some changes in effort to modernize the whole thing. Now the Bundesheer is again moving over to camouflage.

The only flaw is that i'm likely never gonna get more of them.
I'm a ridiculously tall and skinny guy, 210/90 and the M-XLong fit me like a glove,
bit tight on the ass but there's some sewed down pleats on the back you can cut loose that fixed that perfectly.
Length is great, the fabric is fantastic, tough and dries fast, and the pockets are great (no back pockets, best idea ever)

Muissa housuissa koko 38-30 ja tämä justiinsa sama koko.
Ensivaikutelman perusteella melkein yhtä hyvät kuin aikoinaan Valtion Pukutehtaan valmistamat vastaavat jotka jäi pieneksi vuosien kuluessa.
Vaimon mielestä liian sotilaallisen näköiset mutta itsellenihän nämä ostin ja sopuhintaan.
Nappi sepaluksen ja taskujen kanssa menee tottuessa kun itse pidän vetoketjuja käytännöllisempänä.
Plussaa että voi pestä tarvittaessa 95c lämpötilassa.
