ARMY BOOTS — SHOES THAT FITS FOR EVERYTHING

Here you'll find our selection of military boots. Army boots are just the best. Alongside combat-use, these boots are fit for hiking, camping, law enforcement, and military use. Combat boots favor every ankle, so these are for men and women. And some people just wear tactical boots every day, because why the hell not!

We wanted to provide different types of boots so everyone could find a pair for themselves. We have army boots with and without membrane, black and brown colored. Secondly, like many other of our products, we also have military boots straight from the factory and older army surplus.

Get a proper pair fresh from the start!

A large portion of the boots we sell are military models. So if you have an upcoming hike, march, or other challenging ground, this is the right shoe category for you. Army stuff is practically always well tested, robust and simple, and boots aren't an exception. Army boots are also very beneficial in civilian use.

We also have a bit more of a classic models, like the Särmä Ankle Boots and Jump Boots.

With or without membrane?

If you're wondering what's the difference between military boots with or without membrane, we'll answer. So the boots with membrane are a little more modern design because they're as waterproof as the rubber boots but only breathes more. Boots without a membrane are more of a classics, and they breathe better but are not as waterproof. Sure with right care and grease they can be made pretty well waterproofed.

Choosing the shoe depends. In "unstable" conditions - like on a long hike - the membrane is probably your best bet, but life goes on without one as well. For example, in everyday use, the benefit of waterproofness will usually just go to waste.

Take care of your boots!

Membrane or not, boots must be taken care of. As said, leather boot can also be treated pretty waterproof with grease and shoe polish. The GTX footwear must also be kept in shape with their own care products.

We have a specific group for shoe care and maintenance, as well as a detailed article covering various leathers, ways to clean and treat them, and general info about the various greases, spray-on treatments, and shoe polishes.

Remember the socks and insoles!

Socks are often underrated element of feet well-being. To get the most out of your boots, get a few pairs of good socks and don't forget the insoles. What do you know, those are also available at Varusteleka! Get a Merino woolen pair, and you'll never go back to cotton.
