Shipping policy

Order Processing Time

90 % of the orders are sent from our Helsinki, Finland warehouse the next business day. All orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays. Processing times may be slightly longer during peak seasons (such as sales or holidays).

Shipping Destinations

We deliver worldwide and ship to most countries. However, some exceptions exist due to international sanctions, carrier restrictions, or exceptionally remote locations.

  • Domestic: Finland and Åland Islands

  • International: 

    • Europe (except some remote regions)

    • North America

    • South America (selected countries)

    • Asia (major countries only, restrictions apply)

    • Oceania (Australia, New Zealand, excluding remote islands)

    • Middle East & Africa (selected countries, restrictions apply)

Please note that we do not ship to specific restricted locations (e.g. P.O. boxes, military addresses, remote islands).

Shipping Methods & Estimated Delivery Times

We partner with trusted carriers such as DHL, UPS, DPD, Posti, etc. Delivery times may vary depending on your location and selected shipping option:

  • Domestic standard shipping: 1–3 business days

  • EU countries: 3–7 business days

  • USA & Canada: 7–14 business days

  • Rest of the world: 10–21 business days

These are estimated delivery times with economy delivery and are not guaranteed. We also offer 1-3 business-day express deliveries to most destinations. Customs delays or carrier disruptions may affect delivery schedules.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location, cart weight, and selected shipping method.

  • Free shipping to Finland for orders over 100€ for certain delivery methods

  • Standard flat rate or calculated cost for smaller orders.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Unless the order is shipped with DDP incoterm, international shipments may be subject to import duties, taxes, and fees imposed by your country’s customs office. These charges are the customer’s responsibility. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance.

Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking link to become active.

Delayed or Lost Shipments

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery time, please contact us at info@varusteleka.com.

  • If a package is lost in transit, we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue.

  • We are not responsible for shipments delayed due to incorrect address information provided by the customer.

Incorrect or Insufficient Address

Please ensure your shipping address is correct before completing your order. We are not responsible for delivery issues caused by inaccurate or incomplete addresses.

Restrictions & Exceptions

Certain products may be restricted from international shipping due to local regulations (e.g., items containing batteries, aerosols, or other hazardous materials). Customers are responsible for ensuring the ordered products comply with local import laws.
