Hunting First Aid

Our company has knowledge and experience with First-Aid equipment. Here's a non-commercial message: buy these. If not from us, buy them elsewhere, but make sure you have a proper First-Aid kit. Also, prepare mentally for the possibility that you'll have to use them someday. Attend a course, attend another one if you already have done so.

If your local hunting culture takes firearms safety seriously, that's great. Depending on where you hunt, this might not apply. In Italy, for example, the start of the hunting season is often followed by a funeral season, for a hunter from the same group or an unlucky hiker in the area. And you thought machine gun hunting Americans were bad.

Part of being careful is to recognize the possibility of an error. Being a long way from the nearest hospital when there's a hole in your friend is a shitty place to be if all you have is tick-tweezers and some band-aids.
