Wästikivi Eräkivi whetstone
A rough translation of "Eräkivi" would be "wilderness stone", and that's exactly what this is - sized for easy carry, this little buddy is always ready to keep your blades in shape out in the wilderness. Size 120 x 30 x 10 mm. Made from natural Finnish phyllite, the same stuff that our ancestors used since they first invented a knife that needed maintenance. Naturally due to the natural nature of the stone these don't follow any man made grit values, but that doesn't really matter since each and every Wästikivi will surely keep your blade sharp!
Woodsknife Traditional puukko 77, dark
The Puukko. Need we say more? Okay, the traditional Finnish knife used for everything - woodworks, eating, playing catch and killing your brother. With a blade length of 77 mm this one is as traditional as it gets, great for wood carving and everything else that an axe is too big for.
Woodsknife Big Leuku 180
A leuku is a traditional larger outdoors knife used in Finland for ages, it's used for those jobs that require less finesse, chopping stuff and carving sticks into stakes etc. This "Big" leuku is truly worh its name, the blade measures a full 180 mm giving it excellent chopping power for heavy use!
Woodsknife Wiking 1 62
A medieval style mini-knife, this type of minimalistic blade is good for any small tasks and is great paired up with a larger knife. Made from high carbon steel, same as all other Woodsknife puukko´s.
Terävä Skrama, carbon steel
The Skrama is a versatile heavy duty bush knife - a tool that builds shelters, chops firewood and even carves feather sticks! If you're taking just one knife into the bush the Skrama is a viable option. This is naturally no axe, nor a precision tool for extremely meticulous work, but something in between and a solid and dependable companion above all.
Ukkomatti hip flask
An alternative to the traditional flat hip flask is this Finnish design. Hangs right next to you knife on your belt from a leather sheath. Stainless steel, made completely in Finland - a very high quality product. Volume 80 ml. Our logo on the top!
Terävä Jääkäripuukko, carbon steel
No fancy bullshit, the Jääkäri is a proper no-nonsense puukko knife for real use, not for sitting on a shelf for decoration. Fine quality carbon steel, traditional Finnish puukko blade profile with a slight drop point and a practical grind guarantee a razor sharp knife straight out of the box, and it's easy to maintain too.
Särmä Windproof Smock
Our take on the classic British Windproof Smock with improvements and civilian-friendly colours. If you're tired of sweating in 'tex clothing but want some protection from showers, you'd do well to give this a try.
Särmä TST L2 turtleneck shirt, merino wool
A functional midweight turtleneck shirt for demanding active wear. Made from a polyamide reinforced merino wool blend. Functions both as a heavier base layer or a mid layer, great for both the cold seasons and cool summer nights.
A one-off, limited edition puukko made in cooperation by Harri Merimaa of Woodsknife and Tommi Mäkelä of Laurin Metalli. The Pukkilan Jaska is a neat little thing, although this is clearly a thing of beauty it´s still a tool and works great in all kinds of general smaller tasks from whittling to food preparation, that is if you don´t mind your limited edition puukko showing some signs and marks of life. Numbered limited edition!
The duo behind this neat little knife are Harri Merimaa of Woodsknife (one of our regular puukko suppliers) and Tommi Mäkelä of Laurin Metalli (the actual manufacturers of our Skrama and Jääkäripuukko´s), so when we got offered these it was naturally impossible to say no.
The handle is made from leather discs, sanded and finished off with a polish. The blades are factory made blades from Laurin Metalli, carbon steel naturally.
