US M-1944 General purpose carrying strap, nylon, surplus
An easiest solution to carry anything around, provided it has loops. This wide nylon strap has a steel hook clip at both ends and is fully adjustable.
In 1944 US armed forces came up with a "carrying strap, general purpose". It has since been used to haul anything you can clip it onto, and this means most things you can imagine. The same strap pattern is still in use, these are newer models made of nylon, which was gradually adopted around the 60's and 70's.
As with the previous model, this one too is 5 cm (2") wide and has a good adjustment range and steel clip hooks at both ends. The strap can be attached to most bags, ammo cases, firearms and so on. You can even devise crude LBW suspenders from two of these!. Max length about 108 cm (42").
