This is one impressive Chef’s knife. It works as a general-purpose kitchen knife - slicing, dicing, slashing, and cutting all sorts of edible stuff. Not people though, good guys don’t eat people. When you get one of these, you can just donate all those remotely knife-like implements of yours to a friend that cooks less.
Blade
Just like all the other Terävä knives, this Chef’s knife is also made of 80CrV2. There’s really nothing fancy or special about this material, it is just very good tool steel which can take a beating and offers good edge retention. 80CrV2 has over the decades earned a reputation as solid and reliable steel, especially for our purposes.
Sharpening carbon steel blades is very easy but the downside of the material is rust. To prevent rusting, we have put a Teflon®-coating on the blade. It protects the blade from corrosion and prevents all sorts of sticky goo from clinging onto it like a pitbull. At the same time, the knife slides through things a bit more smoothly.
The blade thickness is 2.4 mm, so the blade is a lot thinner than the regular Skramas. Like everyone who has tried to make sushi with an axe knows, it is a lot easier to slice and dice things with a thinner blade.
Handle
This kitchen tool comes with the same handle as Skrama 200, simply because it is a damn good handle. Nice rubber with a very good grip. It won’t slip off your fingers even when wet.
Care
The Teflon®-coating and rubber grip make the maintenance quite a bit easier. It is worth remembering though that there is no Teflon®-coating on the sharpened part of the blade. So, don’t wash the knife in the dishwasher or shove it in the sink along with wet and dirty dishes if you don’t want any surface rust on that part of the blade. Besides, no knife likes that kind of treatment anyway.
Preferably wash the knife by hand and dry it properly after every use.

BEST CHEF KNIFE EVER!
I am glad to have picked it up, even more so as it is no longer available.
Would highly recommend it and also buy some for the family, but...
Hope your upcoming kitchen stuff can live up to this.
