When you're prone in a firing position and need to take a long shot with confidence, inspecting your notes to estimate the distance and calculate windage and elevation settings is mandatory. If you were smart enough to plan ahead, all you have to do is flip a lid and all the information is available.
Field-friendly features
Adjustable elastic bands and friction back are used to attach this pouch in place, and a pen holder and flat zippered pocket are immediately available. The front also has a velcro panel that you could use for decoration, but it is primarily meant for the closing straps.
Opening the lid reveals a 16 x 13 cm / 6.5" x 5" window pocket for a map or other most frequently used documents. The pocket can be turned over like a page and it's transparent on the backside as well for dual-use. Below you will find two 7.5 x 12 cm / 3" x 4.5" window pockets for smaller cards and charts.
Pro tip: If you close the lid with the straps at an angle towards each other, you can open the pouch with a single motion instead of pulling them one by one.

- Its a lot more bulky that it looks in the pictures.
- the rubber straps are not very user friendly solution for civilian use and hiking
- wearing a watch is very uncomfortable when having wearing the wrist office.
for these last two reasons i wouldn't recommend to a friend who used to wear a watch otherwise its OK!
