The British Pattern 37 Web Equipment (37 Webbing) was taken into use in 1937, and it was used long after it. The system became so popular that many other countries introduced it to their troops after WWII, for example, Denmark.
Use
Although originally designed to hold up the Pattern 37 webbing, these work wonderfully as shoulder straps for all kinds of bags, as long as their buckles can take a 2.5 cm (1”) strap. Note! There are both left and right side straps here but it makes no big difference for you if you just use these on a bag.
Size info
The length of these straps is approximately 110 cm (43”), but they can of course be a bit longer or shorter. The width is 2.5 cm (1”) at the narrow part and 5 cm (2”) at the wide part.
Condition
Danish military surplus, used at different levels of intensity. The color may be faded, and the color can also vary from khaki to olive drab.
