Särmä TST Tourniquet pouch
An extremely simple tourniquet pouch, made from extremely strong military webbing with a quick and easy to use velcro flap. A true "Keep It Simple, Stupid" design, it doesn´t get much more simple and functional than this. Fits the most common military tourniquets (CAT, SOF-T etc.). Finnish MILSPEC quality!
QuikClot Combat Gauze Z-fold
Hemostatic gauze is an excellent addition to any first aid kit. QuikClot quickly forms a natural blood clot which helps manage and stop bleeding in wounds which are otherwise hard to bandage. This impregnated gauze is also easier to use than the old granules which have a tendency to fly all around the place.

We recommend this folding method if you find the standard packing style too "fat": DIY Flat Fold Method for SOFTT-W Tourniquets
SOF-T or CAT? Both of these tourniquets are superb, but there are some subtle differences. The CAT is a bit simpler and as such a bit easier to use, it is also lighter (weight 65 g). The SOF-T is extremely durable but maybe a tiny bit slower to use and heavier (weight 110 g).
The CAT is often prefered for personal use as a part of an IFAK whilst the SOF-T is maybe better suited for CLS and medic use. Nevertheless both work perfectly in any role and the most important factor in choosing a tourniquet is probably personal preference!
