Soviet wool greatcoat, black, surplus
Black wool greatcoats are just about the Holy Grail of military surplus. These Soviet air force models are made of coarse, thick material and will continue to serve mankind well after you have kicked the bucket. We're not exaggerating, much. One-off lot! We won't get more.
A traditional, prancy fancy two-row model with shiny brass buttons. The upper is slightly lined for better insulation, but there's no real thick liner inside.
Thick, rough, coarse manwool. Very strong stuff, the kind you will definitely not find in civilian stores. The Soviet Union states it's wool with 8-10 % other fibres mixed, probably uranium. If you need to wash, do it with wool program in about 30 degrees Celsius (preferably with wool care products mixed in). Or just spot clean, like officially recommended.
Sizes in the Russian GOST system: first Euro size for chest, then recommended height as a number. In the brackets we have unlocked these to centimetres (first height, then chest). Divide by 2,54 to get the numbers in inches. Lengthwise these will probably fit a few cm taller people than the recommended height would suggest. Widthwise these fit rather tight and are made for a standard body type with about 12 cm difference between chest and waist circumference.
In very good condition, most hardly used at all. Made in Russia to a high standard. Not necessarily pretty down to the last detail, but really durable stuff.
