Soviet parade boots #1
Soviet parade boots, a nice pair of traditional military / old time footwear. These are more neat in appearance than field boots but still hold up well in use, no cheapo shit here. One-off piece!
Full leather including the sole, with rubber heel piece. The sole is nailed on. These extend just below the knee. Inside the shaft these have a leather lining.
The size is 42 (270 mm), with a Russian "wide" last. User's recommended foot length 270 mm. Measure yours by placing your foot on paper and drawing the outline. Then measure the longest distance from heel to toe.
No insoled included. In the pictures you can see the template insole which we used to determine the inside length of the shoe (plus just a few millimetres to both directions).
38 cm circumference on the mouth of the shaft. Height from ground to top 47 cm. Will not fit mega calves.
In very good condition, these show very little wear - in fact we're not sure if it's just factory scuffing and such, but there's some little stains and the finishing coating on the front part of the leather soles looks worn off (which would happen anyway the moment you walk outside with these). Heel rubbers are in perfect condition. By the way, a cobbler can glue on rubber tap soles on the front for better traction. This procedure virtually stops the wear of the leather sole.
