Soviet officer's field boots #6
Soviet officer's field boots, a nice pair of traditional military / old time footwear. Made thick and strong leather with nailed-on sole & leather tap soles, with rubber tap heels and even heel irons. One-off pair! Russian leather boots are usually made of very strong materials, with a traditional look to them.
These extend just below the knee. Inside the shaft these have a partial leather lining. This kind of quality cannot be found these days from any store, you would have to order a custom pair.
The size is 43 (277 mm), with a Russian "wide" last. User's recommended foot length 277 mm. Measure yours by placing your foot on paper and drawing the outline. Then measure the longest distance from heel to toe.
No insoles included, get a pair immediately.
38-39 cm circumference on the mouth of the shaft. Height from ground to top 44 cm.
Used. The soles have obviously been renewed at some point. There's a small bit chipped off from the nose of the right boot (see the picture), but this doesn't hinder use or weaken the construction at all. The heel irons are a risk in indoor use, be careful!
We occasionally get random pairs of Soviet/Russian boots in stock, these are sold as one-off pairs so you know exactly what you get.

Military equipment is traditionally excellent stuff; it combines durability with very affordable prices. Army surplus finds its way to the civilian market in the following way: the armed forces of one country or other decides to get rid of big batches of perfectly serviceable gear due to cuts in military budgets, said gear becoming obsolete or redundant or some other similar reason. Some of this stuff then finds its way to our storehouse, sometimes directly, sometimes through a third party. Every once in a while we even get random batches of collectibles and rarities from obscure corners of the world.
