Why is it that tyrannies always have the most stylish outfits? For example, these Communist Union buttons are excellent proof that you don’t need a lot of money to produce an opulent feeling of mutually assured destruction. Sew these on your coat and you instantly feel like arresting dissidents.
These buttons are made from gilded aluminum and they are 22 mm (0.87”) in diameter. On the front side, there is a big ass star with a hammer & sickle inside. On the backside, there is a text that can vary from button to button. Buy a bunch and try to collect the whole series or trade these with your friends in a lovely game of Collectible Communism Game (CCG).
Condition
Unused Soviet military surplus from the time when eastern trade tasted of vodka. Some of these can have gotten some scratches through gilding during long storage but that just adds some authentic decadence to your outfit. Not all that is gold does glitter, and wanderers that are lost are found by the KGB.
Remove Russia
Our old product descriptions include ironic praise of our eastern neighbor and it used to be good fun. Does it piss you off? We understand and agree. However, we won't whitewash the old product descriptions. Instead, we have decided to stop buying Russian products. We sell what we have in stock and that's it.
