Pretty as a hatful of kittens, the Soviet "Veshmeshok" rucksack is quite likely the best carrying sack in recent history. This is the hallowed and feared black navy model!

Old Soviet Maxim machine gun ammo boxes. These make for excellent cases for something that needs to stay intact. The sort of a rectangular shape grants more storing options.

Inside dimensions about 25,5 x 25,5 x 8 cm, with rounded corners. Most have the leather carrying handle seen in the pictures, very very few have a cotton strap. We do not differentiate.

As these are meant to be stuffed full of ammunition, the raw durability is incredible. Put about anything inside and the box won't be the one to disintegrate. Weight empty about 1,55 kg.

Old, abused and scruffy, unlike the one pictured. However, they're still very serviceable.
