Old Soviet Maxim machine gun ammo boxes. These make for excellent cases for something that needs to stay intact. The sort of rectangular shape grants more storing options.
Inside dimensions about 25,5 x 25,5 x 8 cm (10" x 10" x 3.15"), with rounded corners. Most have the leather carrying handle seen in the pictures, very very few have a cotton strap. We do not differentiate.
As these are meant to be stuffed full of ammunition, the raw durability is incredible. Put about anything inside and the box won't be the one to disintegrate.
Weight empty about 1,55 kg.
CCCP army surplus
Old, abused, and scruffy, unlike the one pictured. However, they're still very serviceable.
Remove Russia
Our old product descriptions include ironic praise of our eastern neighbor and it used to be good fun. Does it piss you off? We understand and agree. However, we won't whitewash the old product descriptions. Instead, we have decided to stop buying Russian products. We sell what we have in stock and that's it.
