Soviet hand grenade pouch, surplus
A two cell hand grenade pouch, part of the old Soviet yoke and belt webbing. As the rest of the kit, these are probably indestructible and look like the wrong end of a dog.
First taken into service some time in the 50's, these pouches have since seen use for over half a decade, even if it looks like something Jesus might have worn. Even today these can be seen from time to time in use by the Russian army alongside newer kit.
Made from thick cotton canvas, the belt- and yoke loops are made of a thick canvas strap. The inside is divided into two compartments and the floor part is reinforced.
Unissued Soviet surplus, decades of storage and the rough materials used give these a scruffy appearance.
