Soviet combat boots with felt lining, surplus
Who needs GTX membranes when you can just thicken up the leather? These Soviet lacee-up boots are made of special birch tanned leather and have a rustic plush lining on the inside. Only a handful!
Upper made of leather, the soles are rubber and nailed on. The Russian leather has a particular odour which will surely charm your company. It's thick, supple and strong. Of course to prvent the soldier from treating these completely waterproof the sides ofthe tongue have been left open.
First up the Russian size, which is user's recommended foot length in millimetres. Then the EU size Measure your foot length by placing your foot on paper and drawing the outline. Then measure the longest distance from heel to toe.
These have some pretty good room for socks.
In unissued shape, and although the boots are pretty supple, we recommend greasing them, as with any old leather footwear. They are old, so expect some rust on the metal parts and dirt on the inside lining.
