Soviet airplane mechanic boots #3
An impressive pair of military footwear - these were standard issue for airplane mechanics in the former Soviet Union, or so we've been told. Who knows, maybe in the current Soviet Union someone still uses these. Made of thick and strong leather with nailed-on rubber sole. One-off pair! Russian leather boots are usually made of very strong materials, with a traditional look to them.

Size info
The size is 43 (277 mm), with a Russian "regular" last, however, the fit is generous. User's recommended foot length 277 mm. Measure yours by placing your foot on paper and drawing the outline. Then measure the longest distance from heel to toe.
No insoles included, get a pair immediately.
Condition
In excellent shape, and although the boots are pretty supple, we recommend greasing them, as with any old leather footwear. Of course, also thrown around warehouses, so there are some scuffs.
We occasionally get random pairs of Soviet/Russian boots in stock, these are sold as one-off pairs so you know exactly what you get.
Remove Russia
Our old product descriptions include ironic praise of our eastern neighbor and it used to be good fun. Does it piss you off? We understand and agree. However, we won't whitewash the old product descriptions. Instead, we have decided to stop buying Russian products. We sell what we have in stock and that's it.
