Sioen TenCate CX-400 SA Armor Plate, NIJ III+ Stand Alone

An extremely lightweight NIJ III+ ballistic plate for plate carriers and body armor vests. This plate is very light at only 1.6 kg (3.5 lbs). One plate in the package.

This is a special NOS batch we were able to source. The manufacturing date is a few years old and the labels have conflicting information between ICW and SA specifications. These are Stand Alone plates and still good to go.

Please note the thickness, these will not fit all plate carriers. (Does not fit the PC18.)

Compared to ceramic NIJ IV plates, you can save up to 3 kg (6.6 lbs) weight! Weight really makes a difference when you want to stay agile and alert for extended periods. Also, the material is especially resistant against multiple hits close to each other.

NIJ III level protection

The NIJ 101.04 standard level III is tested with six hits from a 7.62 NATO rifle. In short, it offers protection from common non-AP rifle rounds.

In addition, the plate has a +-suffix outside the official NIJ standard and is tested against 7.62x39 MSC.
