Särmä TST Map Pouch

A proper good cargo pocket map pouch, designed to fit A4 size maps and papers, smaller notebooks, pens, and pencils, etc. small trinkets you may want to carry with you in the field. The model is based on an older Finnish army special forces issue map pouch with a load of little improvements and overall much-simplified construction.

• External dimensions approx. 23 x 17 cm / 9" x 6.5", weight approx. 160 g / 6 oz.
• Large A4 size map window on the outside.
• Small 21 x 13 cm / 8.5" x 5" windowed compartment on the inside.
• 21 x 13 cm / 8.5" x 5" pocket with open side and a zippered compartment of the same size on top.
• Elastic holders and pouces for five pencils and a 20 cm / 8" ruler.
• A pull-out and tie-down webbing strap on the spine.
• All materials and components used are MILSPEC!

The Factory Seconds have slight signs of wear and/or small spots of yellow tint on the windows. The windows wear with use in any case so in time you won't be able to tell the difference between these and the mint ones.

Finnish MILSPEC materials

Made from 500D Cordura with PU-coating. All webbing, zippers, and velcro are Finnish military-grade stuff, high quality, and naturally NIR-compliant. The map window plastic is rated for -40 degrees Celcius (-40 F), the same material is used on Finnish army map pouches and similar gear.

Made in Finland/Estonia

These are made by Finn-Savotta Oy, our subcontractor for all Särmä TST field gear and the single largest manufacturer of military gear in Finland. The design work is naturally done in Finland, materials are prepared and shipped to Finn-Savottas Estonian factory where the gear is sewn, then it´s shipped to Finland for quality control.
