Särmä Henley Shirt, merino wool
A traditional Henley style shirt, but made properly - these have only real, functional features and are woven from Merino wool. Works equally well in everyday use and outdoor activities, both by function and looks, both as an undershirt or as an additional warm layer. What's not to love here?
Särmä TST Verikauha field cap, M05 woodland camo
The traditional Finnish field cap is a real piece of history, we decided to breath some new life into it in the form of a glorious M05 camo version.
Särmä Worker Trousers, brown
Classic design back when men's clothing was both practical and good looking. The best thing about these are the darts in the back and pleats in front. These give more room around the hip area, so the trousers do not crush your balls like all modern trousers do.
Särmä Worker Flat Cap, brown
A basic flat cap, and that's what's so nice about these; timeless colour and form, no flashy logos or ugly details. It's a hat you could wear with anything. At the same time this cap will demilitarize anything else you are wearing. Just add braces to your trousers and you look all ready for a proper bar fight!
Brandit Pea Coat
The classic medium-length navy pea coat. A faithful copy of the US Navy model, this is a very stylish and warm coat for cold weather, just like the original.
Pentagon Hermes softshell trousers
Full nylon "action pants".These keep wind and light rain off, and breathe way better than GTX membranes. An excellent compromise for general use during the more unstable months of the year, either with Merino wool underwear or not. As a bonus for the civilian, these don't even look all that warry while still have pocket room for the essentials.
Pentagon UTA Anorak
We could say we're somewhat embarassed that an anorak this good was not developed around these parts where it suits extremely well, but in Greece.
Your basic skipper hat made of lightweight wool blend. Timeless model, these have been around for a long time. By purchasing one from us you will get a good high quality hat that will only look better with use and age.
A classic from times when factory pipes first started polluting the skies, the popularity has waxed and waned over the years but these peaked mariner caps always been around to this day. Now we continue this tradition with our skipper hat made of black 60/40% wool/polyester blend, with viscose lining on the inside. On the front you'll find the braided cord and "buttons" and that's it. Simple and classic. This is a functional hat too; it keeps your head protected quite well and even holds light rain.
A surprisingly versatile piece of headwear, after you get used to wearing one. It quite effectively demilitarizes your outfit, which is nice if you've been shopping those military lunatic outfits at Varusteleka again or something. You'll just be mistaken for an artist, trust us!
Dry clean only, don't throw this into the washing machine! You could also try to scrub the soiled spot (probably the sweatband) with a sponge, water and mild soap. Thanks to the high wool content the hat doesn't easily start to smell or get soiled anyway.
Even after many years of use the sweat band is pretty easy to replace by just sewing on a new one of similar thickness. This hat has a very long service life, unless you lose it.
One centimetre increments between 56—62 cm, talking head circumference here. The fit is loose enough to allow a few fingers between the cap and head; deifinitely no need to size up for relaxed wear. For a taut fit one size smaller than usual might come into question.
Särmä is our own brand of clothing and equipment. When you're buying Särmä you're getting purpose built stuff at a decent price, something that will fill it's intended role well and not cost you an arm and a leg!
