The idea is rather simple: start with something like running tights or leggings, add reinforcements because you sometimes want to take a knee or seat out there, and go on with pockets and belt loops to increase hauling capacity. A bit like trekking tights, actually. The belt loops are specifically necessary in certain shooting sports where the belt must pass through belt loops on the pants. This is also the reason for their placement lower at an "equipment belt height".
Features
Stretchy clothes need little adjustments but a drawcord adjustment at the waist is handy. The knees and ass are reinforced and the fabric is squat proof. Naturally, all seams are flat.
Wearing tights can leave you hanging when you need to get something out of your hands. These have thigh pockets to save the day. The pockets are flat and out of the way until you need them.
The front has a small hidden pocket for keys and such, and the front belt loops are expanded for accessory clips. Yeah, these leggings have belt loops so you can increase the carrying capacity with an accessory belt that would make Batman envious.
Size info and charts
Available in three length ranges and different width sizes. The waist is high but not ridiculously so. The material and reinforcements have a bit less stretch than ordinary leggings, consider this to avoid choosing a too small size.

Takana on nyt pari pidempää ja lyhyempää päiväreissua ja annan Särmän seikkailulegginseille pienin varauksin viisi tähteä. Isoin varaus on se, ettei minulla ole mitään aiempaa kokemuspohjaa legginseistä. Nämä ovat aivan helvetin mukavat keksinnöt. Kevyet kantaa ja kuin toinen iho, mutta samalla tarjoavat kaiken tarvitsemani tuen. Reisilihakseni eivät hinkkaa yhteen pitkillä kävelyillä eikä hikoilukaan tunnu näissä yhtä ikävältä. Suosittelen kokeilemaan. Takamuksen ja polvien vahvikekangashan on samaa kangasta kuin muu housu, mutta vain paksumpana. Rävenin versiossa vahvikkeet ovat sellaista selkeästi kovempaa, jotain kumiseosta. En siis konttailisi näiden kanssa tieten tahtoen kallioilla, mutta kait nämä pikkasen kauemmin kestävät ennen kuin nahka alkaa paistamaan alta. Toinen reisitasku on avotasku, toisessa on pieni pala velcroa sulkemassa suu. Aluksi kaipasin vaikka toiseen taskuun vetoketjua, mutta en enää. Se nostaisi toki hintaakin, mutta ei näissä reisitaskuissa muutenkaan mun mielestä säilytetä mitään pitkiä aikoja. Ei ainakaan jos meinaa hikoilla. Mulla ensisiteen alapuoli ui hiessä pitkän kuuman päivän jälkeen. Onneksi se ei ollut setelinippu. Mutta hameen alla rauhallisemmassa illanvietossa lisätaskut ovat superkätevät. Arvotavarataskuun mahtuu kivasti 1-2 luottokorttia ja 1-2 avainta.
Olen n. 184 cm pitkä ja vyötärö taitaa olla jtn 85 cm. Mulle oli long large oikein sopivat, eikä missään nimessä tunnu siltä että nilkat paistaa. Ehkä pari-kolme senttiä pidemmälle longit voivat juuri ja juuri olla vielä ok. Jos on ammattipyöräilijän pohkeet, niin sitten ei. Se taitaa olla korkean vyötärön ansiota, ettei näissä ole samaa ongelmaa kuin muissa naisvartalolle optimoiduissa legginsseissä. Sen ja vyötärönnarun ansiosta housut pysyvät ylhäällä koko päivän, eivätkä ala juuri lainkaan säkittämään välilihan kohdilta. Vyötä en ole näiden kanssa käyttänyt. Jos käyttäisin ja kantaisin sillä pyssyköitä ym. niin voi olla, että housut alkaisivat valua painosta.

Istuu kuin unelma ja näyttää imartelevalta takaa. Eikä hirtä kiinni edestä...taskuihin mahtuu oikeesti tavaraa, ja ripustuslenkeistä iso plussa. Vyötärönauhasta olin skeptinen mutta se pitää pöksyt päällä kyllä koko päivän.
Väri minusta sinertävään taittava musta. Taskuihin kaipaisin vetoketjuja. Vedin pari juoksulenkkiä näissä, mutta siihen suosittelisin ihan urheiluleggingsejä, koska saumat tuntuivat siinä toiminnassa vähän hankaavan.

Nyt monta reissua myöhemmin totean, että legginsit olisi pitänyt tilata paljon aiemmin. Sopivalla kerrospukeutumisella nämä menee viileässäkin. Itse olen käyttänyt legginsejä juoksussa, kävelyllä, maastopyöräillessä ja ihan vaan ollessa.
Päädyin ottamaan vihreän värin joka sopii erinomaisesti eräjormalle myös siviiliin. Toki olen saanut osakseni katseita, mutta en ole antanut niiden häiritä. Mikäli olen aistinut katseita niin olen antanut lisää katsottavaa... Pyöräilijän reidet sopivasti poseraattuna saa monen naisen katseet hämilleen hyvässä mielessä.
Näistä ei voi päällepäin erottaa onko kyseessä miesten vai naisten housut. Korkea vyötärö on plussaa kun en tykkää harrastaa selkä paljaana.
Itse olen noin 170cm, painan 75kg ja käytän kokoa 44. Istuu hyvin ja lahkeiden pituus on hyvä kun käytän housuja pyöräillessä. Harkinnassa ostaa toisetkin kun nämä on oikeasti huippuhyvät.

I'm a bit overweight, and prefer wearing pants bellow the belly, which necessitates wearing these with a belt, so am thankful for the belt loops. Wearing them lower like this also conveniently leaves room for the male bits

Hi! These can be used by men as well, these are stretchy so as long as the waist measurement is fitting then you're good to go!
