Särmä Knee Socks, Merino Wool

These thin knee-length socks are especially good with tall hiking and army boots - on their own in summer or around the year as a liner. And for cycling. Made in Finland from a merino wool blend.

These are superb: very comfortable, moisture-wicking, and durable. They also make for excellent liner socks for outdoor use with any footwear, summer or winter. Light compression in two spots for a better fit! Also fine and dandy for the gentleman who knows not to show any exposed skin from under his trouser cuff in any circumstances.

Materials and care

Made from 48% Merino wool, 32% polyamide, and 20% polypropylene. Wash at 40° C (104° F). Don't leave them in a wet lump after washing. Reshape them gently while still damp. The poly-things are there to bring some durability - Merino wool this thin wouldn't last too long on its own. The sock will shrink about 10% in the first wash. This is taken into account in sizing.

And yes, the wool is mulesing-free!
