Särmä Kids Merino Wool Cap

A camouflage wool cap for kids, awesome! Based on the Finnish M05 woodland and snow patterns, we enlarged the shapes a bit to have them work better with knitted wool. As a side-effect, the snow version resembles a bovine animal and is dubbed the MOO-05 pattern.

These are made with a double-layered construction. The result is far more insulating than the standard single-layer style, a neat feature in extreme cold. Still, as these don't have any membranes or such the wool breathes naturally.

The size is suitable from below school-aged kids to adults if you have a small hat size, roughly around 51-54 cm (up to 6 3/4).

Quality merino wool

Wool is super. Merino wool is finer, which means it itches less and insulates better compared to ordinary wool.

Wool is self-cleaning to a degree. Usually just airing it regularly is enough. It doesn't attract odors and prevention goes a long way here. But you can wash it if necessary.

• 100% Merino Wool, 370 g/m². Two layers of knit.
• Fiber thickness: 19.5 micron.
• Wool wash at 30° C (86 F).

Don't leave the cap in a wet lump. Reshape it gently while still damp. Using wool care products not mandatory, but recommended.
