A pair of sturdy winter boots made apparently in the early '90s. Unissued, size 46!
Outsole made of rubber, which is nailed on leather midsoles. Very durable. Upper made entirely of pretty good quality unlined leather! However there's a crappy, thin crumbling felt lining on the foot area. The mouth of the shaft can be adjusted to fit most people. There's also a hard toecap on the nose.
Size info
Size in the Soviet system: 305 mm / 46, which is first the recommended foot length in millimeters, then EU/French size. Being made for Russian winter, these have plenty of room for socks and insoles.
Care
Care for your boots and they might care for you! Clean the boots with a moist rag and/or a brush. Apply grease and polish to the leather.
Condition
In unissued condition, just stored for a long time. Ready for wear as is, but we recommend giving them a good greasing before use. The only gripe is the shitty disintegrating lining (which is not THAT necessary anyway).
Remove Russia
Our old product descriptions include ironic praise of our eastern neighbor and it used to be good fun. Does it piss you off? We understand and agree. However, we won't whitewash the old product descriptions. Instead, we have decided to stop buying Russian products. We sell what we have in stock and that's it.
