Are you sick of Merino wool? Well then, these old Swedish long johns are the cure; made from more coarse, more durable standard wool and even equipped to the max with cotton suspenders! Best used as a mid-layer, but tough guys can wear these next to the skin, too.
Features
Usually, older army underwear is made from cotton, but in Sweden, they really showed their royal wealth by making proper wool wear for the vast conscript army. Not only that, but these do have that complete Wild West look with the non-flexible, non-breakable cotton suspenders (that can also be carefully cut off). Also, note the handy butt fly in the rear echelon area.
Adjustments on the waist and suspenders, both are button operated. You can also move the buttons around for a little customized fit. The suspenders are sized all the way from short people to hobbit babies. Our model is 175 cm tall, and the suspenders are maxed out.
Material and care
We strongly believe the fabric is 100% wool, with cotton used in the places most prone to wear. Wash with a wool cycle at 30 to 40 °C (86 to 104 °F), hang dry. These do not require much washing at all, being wool. and the fact that you probably want to wear something under them.
Size info
The old Swedish underwear is made with a simple numbered size system. In the brackets, we have given the actual measured waist: minimum to maximum. The waist band doesn't really stretch much, so the adjustment is done with buttons.
Condition
Most aren't used at all or used just a bit. All intact and good to go!
