Peltor ARC Adapters
Attaching your ear defenders directly to your helmets is an easy way to increase comfort. The ARC adapters replace the standard headband and give you the option to easily lift the cups without having to remove your helmet, this is especially nice in prolonged wear as ear defenders tend to get rather sweaty.

Compatible with all Peltor hearing protectors at least from our selection. Installation is very easy but be warned: this requires the destruction of the original leather headband cover!
- Cut open the leather cover and remove it from the headband and wiring.
- Snap the cups off from the headbands attachment points .
- Snap on the ARC adapters.
- Attach the ARC adapters to your helmet rails.
The connecting wiring should be placed somewhere where it won´t cause snagging, most commonly this is somewhere between the helmet shell and pads or liner. This is very much dependent on the type of helmet used, how to run the wiring will become clear once you get down to business.
Some helmets may have tight rails and are likely to benefit from a few strokes with a triangular file to make any accessories easier to fit. The top of the rail or the opposite part (on the adapter) may also require filing. These changes are worth it, though: the adapters from PGD have so far (June 2022) been useless.
