NVA Enlisted Men's Cockade, Large, Aluminum, Surplus
An East German cockade for soldiers and noncommissioned officers from the era when wars were still cold and republics democratic. It features the national emblem of East Germany with a hammer and a compass, surrounded by a ring of rye, all full of heavy symbolism. Made of stamped aluminum sheet metal. Measurements c. 60 x 37 mm (2.4" x 1.46"). The cockade comes with two metal brackets that you can use for attaching the bling to your cap, hat, or whatever you want to look more official.

Condition
East German military surplus. These appear unused, but it isn’t like this kind of metal trinket wears out that easily. Even if Stasi shoots you, they probably first strip you of your cockade.
