Mystery Ranch Beartooth 80 Pack
A versatile, big, tough, and incredibly lightweight c. 85 L hunting backpack. You can of course use this for other outdoor adventures as well. It features a large main packsack with a 270° “duffel-style” access and a removable lid with zippered pockets. Enough volume for more than a week in the field, but without the lid, it also compresses down to a few days-long trips. Built onto the Guide Light MT™ Frame, this pack is nice to carry even when overloaded. You can also attach your rifle, shotgun, or bow to it quite nicely.

Features
The new lightweight Guide Light MT™ Frame is the improved version of the tried-and-true Guide Light Frame™ and its rigid yet dynamic frame system, with a few discrete changes. Lightweight in this case isn’t just some meaningless marketing lingo. This thing is like some sort of elf magic that astonished our pack addicts to that extent that Finns can ever be astonished.
The 270° “zipper on the main compartment can be used as a top-loader or accessed from anywhere along the whole length, making it easier to get to any gear you might need.
The five-part waist belt is extremely well padded, and it delivers solid weight distribution and eliminates slippage over your hips, regardless of the load. The bad part is that it will make the trip a lot less miserable but you can, of course, spice up the tales afterward. The Overload® feature provides functional expandability via a load sling between the pack and the frame, allowing you to put the bulk of the weight closest to your back for optimal comfort. This isn’t a proper gun pack because you cannot pull the weapon quickly out while on the move. But for simply carrying your weapons, it works very well.
Materials
Beartooth is made from 330D Lite plus CORDURA®. The fabric is durable and water resistant, yet very lightweight and flexible. It has YKK® coated zippers for durability and water protection as well as lightweight SJ Autolock buckles on straps.
Sizing
These come in two sizes, which refers to the size of the user. They both weigh quite close to 3.0 kg (6.7 lbs), and their volume is actually almost 85 L (5,185 cu. inch). The removable lid is around 14.7 liters, and the Beartooth 80 without the lid is approximately 70.2 liters. Dimensions: 77 x 38 x 42 cm (30.25" x 15"x 16.5"). The patented Futura Yoke easily micro adjusts to the torso length allowing the proper amount of stand-off between the back and frame.
Medium
- Torso length: 38-51 cm (15”-20”)
- Waist circumference: 79-92 cm (31”-36”)
Large
- Torso length: 43-61 cm (17”-24”)
- Waist circumference: 89-102 cm (35”-40”)
The above figures refer to your torso and waist sizes. Measure the waist circumference with your clothes on just above the top of your hip bones roughly two fingers below your belly button. If you are between sizes on the waist belt, we recommend you size down or adjust your eating accordingly. Use a tape measure or string and have a friend measure from the bony bump at the base of your neck (C7 vertebra) to the spot on your spine that is just behind your belly button.
