The Magpul AFG-2 is a slim piece of angled grip zone for your rifle or carbine. By positioning the shooter's hand close to the centerline of the bore, the AFG-2 helps mitigate recoil and control the weapon to facilitate faster, more accurate follow-up shots compared to ordinary vertical grips.

Its compact size allows mounting on a wide variety of railed handguards and it doesn't easily interfere with other accessories you may have mounted in the area. Compatible with most (if not all) M1913 Picatinny-railed handguards and with various adapter rails to everything else.

The AFG-2 is made of a left and right half which can be separated to mount on a rail with "dead ends". Having the halves separated also allows you to install an M16A2-esque finger nub or just a spacer to fill the gap.

Can you fit this to anything else?

If you want to mount this grip to M-LOK slots, you can use any Picatinny accessory rail you may already have but the AFG-2 M-LOK Adapter Rail is made specifically for the task. It is also shown in the product pictures.

To make things even simpler, you can choose an AFG that mounts directly to M-LOK slots.

Made by Magpul

Magpul Industries is an American designer and manufacturer of firearms accessories and related items. The name comes from the first product released in 1999, a rubber add-on to a 5.56 mm STANAG magazine to help pulling it out of a pouch. Anything that says "Magpul" is most often well designed, which means it gets the job done but is also simple. We like their attitude.
