Mil-Tec army blanket, 200 x 150 cm, olive drab
An affordable polyester blanket, made in the style of thick old school army wool blankets. Lighter than a comparable wool blanket, suits those with wool allergies, and has a nice olive drab colour shade. A solid purchase for the buck.
Finnish army bed sheet
Definitely the most important article issued in the Finnish army is the standard cotton bed sheet. Many a reservist still sees nightmares of the endless lines of little rectangles not unlike a railroad to hell.
Särmä TST Finnish M05 rank insignia
Proper embroidered Finnish M05 rank insignia, made by us to fill a gap in the FDF kit issue. These are far more practical than the standard issue metal ones of WW2 vintage! Available in three colour variants: full colour, subdued and snow.
Soviet army comb, surplus
Finally army surplus combs, and not just any boring stuff, but Soviet army issue! These come in different colours from general purpose green to real man's pink. Unissued: these were never used by comb-unists!
Särmä TST M05 RES camo trousers
Our enhanced version of the Finnish military issue M05 summer woodland trousers. Looks just like the official issue stuff, but performs a little bit better! Officially M05 RES approved!
Särmä TST M05 RES camo jacket
Our own, improved version of the Finnish military issue M05 summer woodland jacket. Our enhanced version features two zippered sleeve pockets and better adjustable cuffs. Looks just like the issue jacket at first glance, but functions a little bit better, the devil truly is in the details! Officially M05 RES approved!
Särmä TST M05 field cap
Our own, improved version of the Finnish military issue M05 summer woodland field cap. Our enhanced version is really not that fancy, what we did was remove the utterly stupid (most commonly black) webbing band from around the visor, thinned down the visor stiffener from 2mm to 1mm (much more comfortable now) and removed the silly plastic name tag window and cap badge.
KFOR patch, surplus
Three different patches of the KFOR organization. The NATO logo and arc are velcro-backed and the basic KFOR logo is sew-on.
Finally a proper good set of everynight sleeping accessories. There's just one downside - you might not find your bed anymore thanks to the Finnish M05 camo! On the upside if you manage to get between these, no-one can find you either.
As these are camouflaged, dirt and sweat won't show on them easily, thus, by an old bit of folk wisdom, don't have to be washed so often! However when the time comes, they can be machine washed in 60 degrees Celsius with similiar coloured stuff (meaining dark, not only M05 camo). Unfortunately we could not get a NIR treatment on the fabric. It is however 100% cotton, 140g/m2 in weight, with the camo printed on with reactive colours. Fills Öko-tex 2. class standard. In layman's terms, these are very safe to huddle against and they won't cause harm to the environment either.
Measurements 150 x 210 cm for the duvet cover and 55 x 65 cm for the pillow case. We recommend using these in conjunction with an army wool blanket to get the most out of the product!
